Le bureau XP in the cloud !!

Ola,

Darren:
Hi, can I answer any questions you may have?
Christophe:
hello !
Christophe:
yes, I am really curious to know how your system works
Christophe:
I was wondering how it could fit with my company's concerns
Darren:
Hi Christophe
Darren:
The Hosted Desktop service means that all of your employees would access their business desktop via a web browser.
Christophe:
I still need to have a PC with windows ?
Darren:
You get Microsoft Office 2007 included, as well as a Hosted Exchange mailbox - and we can also host all of your other applications as part of the same desktops.
Darren:
No - you can use any machine with a web browser. Mac, Windows, Linux etc.
Darren:
Most of our clients have switched their employees over to thin clients.
Darren:
Another benefit is that the hardware refresh time needed for your thin clients / PC's / laptops is 2-3 times longer.
Christophe:
do you provide a windows office ?
Darren:
Yes - Microsoft Office is included as part of the service.
Christophe:
No, a windows interface...
Darren:
Sorry - yes, it is a Windows operating system. Currently XP.
Christophe:
wow...
Darren:
This means that there's very little training needed to adopt our service, users just simply login via our website and off they go!
Christophe:
Is it based on VMWare ?
Darren:
No. It's all multi tentanted Windows technology, and is delivered with Citrix.
Darren:
VMWare wouldn't allow the scale of our set up, and is limited.
Darren:
We can add tens of thousands of users without any degradation of service.
Darren:
Nasstar also provide 24x7 Support, back-up, patching etc - so it can take the strain of IT out of your company.
Christophe:
it is suitable for mobile users ?
Christophe:
does it work offline ?
Darren:
Absolutely - you can truly work from anywhere.
Darren:
You need an internet connection. If your office suffers from a broadband outage, or power outage, they can work from home.
Darren:
You can also plug in a 3G card and the service is as quick as if it was local.
Darren:
Would you mind giving me your email address so that I can email you further details?
Christophe:
with pleasure !
Christophe:
cmenani@gmail.com
Christophe:
Is it possible to have a idea of the price ?
Darren:
Thanks - I will also email you over a price indication.
Darren:
I can see that you completed our Experience It Now webform - I'll send you over login details for the live demo at the same time.
Christophe:
I really thank you for these information, this sounds really exciting.
Darren:
Can you please give me an indication of how many users this would be for? And do you have any additional applications? This will help me with the pricing quotation.
Christophe:
could you give me a price for 1000 users ?
Christophe:
plus a CRM application ?
Darren:
Sure - no problem.
Christophe:
Last question...
Christophe:
I am in France
Christophe:
Do you mind working for French customers ?
Darren:
No - we have a global user base.
Christophe:
Alright then, thanks again !
Christophe:
Bye,
Darren:
Thanks Christophe

J'ai eu la propale en 10 minutes !

Est-ce que ça c'est assez convainquant ?!
